LOCATION:

Our romantic  log house,  familiarly called „ The blue cottage“ is located  at the edge of picturesque mining village Kremnicke Bane right in the heart of Kremnica Mountains, just a few steps from the geographical centre of Europe, 3 km from historical golden town Kremnica, 5 km from ski centre Krahule and 12 km from ski centre Skalka.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:

This almost 300 years old cottage has recently been reconstructed with respect for  its authenticity however still providing all the comfort expected from a present traveller. It is a typical miner`s house from Hauerland (once German settlement zone) consisting of three utilisable floors.  

TOTAL CAPACITY: 11 beds + 4 extra beds

ROOMS BREAKDOWN: 2 x  twin room, 1 x quadruple, 1 x five bedded room, 2 x occasional rollaway beds in the common lounge .

AMENITIES: bed linen and towels, TV , DVD, HIFI system (not for CD, only radio), party games, fully equipped kitchen with dining room and traditional style fireplace with bunk, 1 x bathroom with toilet and traditional wooden tub called „kač?a“ (shower), garden furniture and barbecue.

BOARD: you can prepare you own food at the cottage kitchen.

PARKING: parking directly in the courtyard (3 – 4 cars);

ADDITIONAL SERVICES UPON REQUEST (for fee): ski rent and ski service , ski instructor , mountain guide, agro tourism and horse riding, bikes, and tennis racket for fee, transfer arrangements upon request. 

OTHER: dogs allowed for fee 5,-Euro/night, rental of skis and other outfit, bikes, and tennis racket for fee, transfer arrangements upon request. 

OUR OPINION:  Our cottage is  perfect place for winter sports  lovers, families  as well as all those whose main purpose of holiday is nothing else but relax and lazing.  We dare say that sittings at the fireplace whilst there is snowstorm outside or hot bath in our wooden “kač?a” will definitely leave unrepeatable memories in you.

Please note, that our cottage is not hotel, but traditional lodging with heating via fire place and electric convectors are only additional form of heating, not major.
